Illegal streambank alternations along the Wind River
Illegal stream bank alterations like these earthen dikes threaten the Wind River both by introducing sediment and altering the natural course of the river. The individual who constructed these dikes was prosecuted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and convicted of three felony Clean Water Act violations in 2004.
